A Canberra street style blog that’s doing a pretty good job!
The Whole Foods bag ruins this for me, considering the company isn’t as wholesome as they say they are. I’ve got a lot of friends that have worked, and still work, for Whole Foods, and they can testify just how unwholesome the company’s tactics are (using similar practices as two other ‘leaders in their fields’, Starbucks and Wal-Mart).
Throw in a London logo and it actually makes the picture seem quite pretentious. Sorry guys. Ditch the bag.
Apart from that gripe, I agree with Nick. Nice blog.

Japan trip retrospective - Day 3
My sister and I decided to try out the beautifully designed Gucci cafe on the top floor of the Gucci store in Ginza. £6 for a double espresso! But it was so gooooood. And it came with a small glass of sparkling water and a Gucci chocolate (score!), Clare’s tea was also £6 and also gooooood. We felt so damn classy, if only for 20 minutes.

Aw man….just found out Don Lane died a fortnight ago. He taught me everything I needed to know about American Football when I was a kid. RIP.

We’ve yet to dispense any REAL excellent fantasy hoops advice for the stat heads and Holligner “PER” devotees out there, and perhaps that’s because we don’t want our GM secrets to get out. And so this gem is not going to be anything Earth shattering either, but here’s a can’t miss: waive Allen Iverson now! Or keep him at your peril and print up a snazzy: “Woe is Me, and A Disgruntled, Out of Work, Allen Iverson” tee. If you’re doing that deal, though, please put the tee up on Threadless, because I want one, but I don’t feel like designing it. Much like A.I., I’ve forfeited any semblance of effort towards a goal.

Damn! But it really doesn’t surprise me at all. Raja Bell had Kobe in his pocket so many times. Another reason to hate on Stern and his cronies.

I quite loyke the faancy lettuce moyself..
It’s things like this I really miss about Australia. If I was throwing a classy dinner party, complete with fondue set and good china, I’d definitely serve up some fancy lettuce in a side salad. (Maybe with a handful of crutons thrown in to really push the boat out, y’know?)

Royal Mail unveils new stamps featuring classic British album covers
Designed by Studio DempseyFrom Creative Review: The final selection of ten sleeves (which perhaps oddly doesn’t feature one of The Beatles’ album covers) will appear on a set of 10 stamps that will launch on January 7, 2010 - and the stamps will be uniquely shaped, as shown in these images, to accommodate a glimpse of a vinyl disc poking out of each record sleeve.
Peter Saville and The Clash in stamp form…too bad I don’t mail letters and I don’t live in England.
